Willena Beyer, CCC-A, President
Ms. Beyer has more than 35 years of clinical audiology experience, along with 23 years of Industrial Audiology and Hearing Conservation expertise. She is licensed by the State of California in Audiology and certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Early in her career, she honed her clinical skills during a 20-year tenure at Rees-Stealy Medical Group. Later, at Sharp, Ms. Beyer advanced to Director of Clinical Audiology, where she developed five countywide Occupational Industrial Hearing Conservation satellite offices. She continues to provide consultant services for those programs.
In 1983, she established Safe Hearing America, Inc. a California corporation, to provide local mobile hearing testing. At that time, she also began to develop on-site hearing conservation training programs for employers.
Through the years, Ms. Beyer’s continuing education and research, along with ongoing technological advances, have augmented Safe Hearing America, Inc.'s ability to continue to update and expand its’ services. Each mobile unit has been outfitted with microprocessor audiometers, on-board computers, custom software, and audio training tapes to provide turn-key Hearing Conservation programs to any size of employer.
Currently, Ms. Beyer teaches staff and management level hearing conservation seminars and provides professional clinical consultation. Currently, her primary function is overseeing the activities of a fast-growing industrial testing and training organization.
